Hamlet (SAN MARCOS) The retelling of Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy, Hamlet. Set in Denmark, the play dramatizes the revenge Prince Hamlet is called to wreak upon his uncle, Claudius, by the ghost of Hamlet’s father, King Hamlet. Claudius had murdered his own brother and seized the throne, also marrying his deceased brother’s widow. “To be or not to be,” will be answered by the end of the play.

Bart Crow (SAN MARCOS) Bart Crow takes the stage at Cheatham Street Warehouse at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Texas Gamer’s Lounge (SAN MARCOS) Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night are $10 all-you-can-play at Texas Gamer’s Lounge!

San Marcos Farmer’s Market (San Marcos) (FREE) The San Marcos Farmers Market is held every Saturday all year round. The Saturday Farmers Market happens on San Antonio St. between LBJ and Guadalupe Streets from 9am-1pm.

Buda Farmer’s Market (Buda) (FREE) The vision of the Downtown Buda farmers’ Market is to provide local residents and businesses of the community with the freshest, highest quality, most nutritious, and most reasonably priced local produce and goods. Saturday Market – 9am-12:30pm. Located across from Garcia’s Restaurant, Main Street, Buda.

Las Tamaleras (SAN MARCOS) Las Nuevas Tamaleras is a comical bilingual one act play and a wonderful Christmas Tradition. Tickets are $10-$20. Show time is 7:00pm

The Downtown GetDown Pop-Up Art Exhibit (SAN MARCOS) The Downtown GetDown Pop-Up Art Exhibit is a monthly event featuring 5-7 selected visual artists and live music. Tickets are $15. 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Max Stalling (SAN MARCOS) Max Stalling is back at Cheatham Street Warehouse. Doors at 8:00pm. Tickets: $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

The Artisan Market (SAN MARCOS) The Artisan Market is scheduled to run from 12pm until 5pm at Splash Co-Working and We will be featuring 10-12 selected Artisans to showcase their work while the DJ spins!

Texas State Turkey Adventure Run (SAN MARCOS) The Texas State Turkey Adventure Race is a 2-person team challenge race that spans the Texas State campus. Teams walk, jog, run and skip across campus from challenge to challenge, completing wacky tasks and collecting wristbands along the way. Each challenge stop is hosted by a student organization and can range from brainy to sporty to zany!

A day with the Kids (ALL) There are so many free kids activities in Hays County that I love to explore. From parks, hiking trails, libraries, and even farmer’s markets. Let me share with you a few of my favorite gems around the county.
